Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade.

Sapa is a town in the Hoang Lien Son Mountains of northwestern Vietnam. A popular trekking base, it overlooks the terraced rice fields of the Muong Hoa Valley, and is near the 3,143m-tall Phang Xi Pang peak, which is climbable via a steep, multiday guided walk. Sapa offers some of Vietnam's best trekking, and some villages such as Cat Cat and Ta Phin

Halong Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped by rainforests. Junk boat tours and sea kayak expeditions take visitors past islands named for their shapes, including Stone Dog and Teapot islets. The region is popular for scuba diving, rock climbing and hiking.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Hanoi Arrival
Lunch, Dinner

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, meet by our representative and transfer to take Hanoi city tour covering the Temple of Literature (the 1st University of Vietnam), Hoan Kiem Lake & Ngoc Son Temple & the bustling Old Quarter. Dinner at local restaurant.   
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 : Hanoi - Highway – Sapa
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, start the scenic 5 hour drive to Sapa. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River countryside and have a short break on the way. On arrival, have lunch at local restaurant. Then, get on the car/van to drive to Cat Cat. Trek through to Cat Cat & Sin Chai villages, discover the daily life of Black Hmong tribe. Continue to the beautiful waterfall, then back to Sapa town.

Day 3 : Sapa - Hanoi
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Breakfast at hotel.

A short journey of 20 minutes by car/van takes you to Muong Hoa valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in northwest Vietnam. Descending into the valley by foot you will see the largest terraced rice paddy in the Sapa area (If you visit the valley between May and October, there is a chance to experience and observe how the locals plant and harvest rice). The walk takes you from Lao Chai village of the Black H'mong minority to Ta Van village of the Zay minority, providing the opportunity to see the different traditions and costumes of the two ethnic minority groups. Return to Sapa by car/van. Then transfer back to Hanoi.

Day 4 : Hanoi – Halong
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, take Hanoi city tour covering Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & residence, One Pillar Pagoda and Tran Quoc Pagoda. After lunch, proceed to Halong Bay which was awarded by UNESCO as a natural heritage in 1994. This four hour drive will show you the diversity of the North Vietnam villages and rice fields along the journey.

Visit Halong Night Market.

Dinner & overnight in Halong.

Day 5 : Halong – Hanoi
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, take a 4 hour boat trip on Halong Bay to view multi-shaped rocks and visit the dramatic Paradise Grotto. Seafood lunch will be served on board. Return to Hanoi. Free for shopping.

Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6 : Hanoi –Departure

Breakfast at hotel.

Free at leisure until transfer to airport for the departure flight.
