The wall decorations and different styles of towers are the characteristics of its architecture. After visiting Rouen, proceed to Honfleur. This is an ancient and beautiful Normandy fishing port, quaint narrow streets, art galleries all over the city, and vibrant piers. They have all appeared in the impressionists' paintings tirelessly. The most famous building in Honfleur is the Saint Catherine Church built in the 15th century. It is the largest existing wooden church in France.
