After breakfast, we will depart for Avignon, the French city of drama, and freely visit the city walls of the ancient city of Avignon and the Palais des Papes in Avignon; in the afternoon, we will take the high-speed rail back to Paris (no tour guide on the high-speed rail), and end the trip to southern France.

★Avignon Walls

Avignon Walls (Remparts d'Avignon) are ancient fortifications surrounding the old city of Avignon, France, with a circumference of 4,300 meters. They were built by the Roman Pope in the 14th century and pass through the Papal Palace, the Pont Saint-Beneze Bridge, etc. It is listed as a French historical monument by the French Ministry of Culture and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The Papal Palace is an ancient palace located in the southern French city of Avignon. It is the largest and most important medieval Gothic building in Europe. The palace consists of two layers of buildings, the old palace built in the fortress style during the reign of Benedict XII, and the new palace expanded on the basis of the old palace during the reign of Clement VI, the most luxurious pope in Avignon. The Papal Palace is not only the most magnificent Gothic building in Europe, but also shows the international Gothic style in all aspects, and concentrates the achievements of the top masters of the time.
